The foregoing pictures are some random shots that I have been meaning to post for awhile, but haven't found the time to post until now. The first shot was taken at my favorite coffee shop in Baton Rouge -- Highland Coffees -- in the courtyard. Maddie told me to take a picture of her, pretending she is sleeping. Very artsy..... The second shot was taken at a birthday party a few weekends ago, where Maddie is seen scaling the climbing wall. The last shot certainly needs no explanation -- it's a blow-up LSU Tiger, that I saw during my trip to the big Auburn game. I took the picture with my cell phone cam during a run around my beloved LSU lakes.
Speaking of my beloved LSU Tigers, it looks like we're 100% number one in the country! Now, barring any unforeseen tragedies in the next couple of weeks, we'll be in NOLA for the National Championship Game!
The kids have continued to regale us with Christmas songs, that will be performed at the annual Sonshine Learning Center Christmas Pageant. Beau has been singing the following:
We just met Jesus, Jesus in his glory; We just met Jesus lying in the hay
Actually, last year's pageant was fantastic, and we're really looking forward to this year's.
