Very Merry Day After Christmas to everyone! This was a quote from a mailman at the post office on Christmas Eve, when Scarlet was actually out mailing law school recommendations for her students! A meek customer dared to ask whether they had any Christmas stamps left, to which the mailman replied," No, we have no Christmas left whatsoever!" I thought it was funny.

The pictures are fairly self-explanatory. We had our own version of the Grove Park Inn Gingerbread extravaganza, with Thomas Beau serving as the Judge. (There was just one house, so it was pretty easy to determine the winner....) Mom finally got a Kitchen Aid mixer WITH A BOWL LIFT (like Aunt Julie's), and a beautiful set of Wusthof knives! Princess everything, a beautiful wooden vanity Princess set (not cheap plastic), the Barbie Christmas Doll (which has been taken out of the box for full enjoyment), and much much more!
